Ministry Grants Provided by Fishing For Life

1. Burning Bush – An organization that creates and distributes
Christian literature. Their request was to give away or substantially
reducing the cost of their literature/books to churches that can not
afford them. Their literature is a beautifully illustrate picture and
story of the gospel and other Bible stories.
2. Dino Mights – An organization that shares the gospel by offering
youth hockey to urban kids. Their request was to support ice time,
hockey equipment, tutoring supplies, and youth scholarships for
summer camps.
3. Christ Church International – This church is requesting funds for
its camp, Kids across America, an urban sports camp, a summer
urban missions trip, and supplies for their youth room.
4. Inner City Church of Minneapolis – This church is requesting
funds for a permanent installation of sound equipment and lighting
for the youth room.
This request is for commercial NSF refrigerator and repairs to
convection ovens.
5. Morning Star Kids Inc. – An organization that seeks to give
children a Biblical foundation. Their request was to support an
outreach worker who will develop and maintain relationships with
children and their families.
6. Urban Refuge – This church is requesting funds for an urban
mission trip to keep the costs for the participants at a minimum.
This church is requesting funds to improve new lighting in the
sanctuary.
7. Central Community Church – This church is requesting funds for
youth football, basketball, and baseball programs.
8. Cityworks Inc. – Their request is to purchase another truck in
order to expand our basketball ministry. They also need to improve
our street hoops trailer and our backboard equipment.
9. Minneapolis Believers in Christ – This church is requesting funds
for its Three Deep Program. The program target kids/youth to get
them to focus on the education, exercise, and enlightenment. This is
all to the power of Jesus Christ.
This church is requesting funds to complete a computer/resource
room, so that teens, adults, and kids can sharpen their minds.
10. Hands Across the City – They are a collaborative organization of
several churches that coordinates evangelistic outreach events.
Their request is help fund one of their events.
11. Citysites Urban Media – They are a ministry media that uses
radio and websites to promote ministries in the Twin Cities. Their
request is to update software equipment.
12. Jesus in the City – This church is requesting funds for a
community evangelistic outreach.
13. Community Emergency Service of Augustana Lutheran Church
– This church is requesting funds to provide housing for homeless
families by paying a portion of their rent.
14. Minnesota Teen Challenge – This organization provides a drug
treatment facility for both teens and adults. Their request is for
general operating expenses.
15. Salem Evangelical Free Church – This church is requesting
funds for to improve their services and expand the program through
advertising.
