July 30-31^st The Marathon Man at Maynard’s on Lake Minnetonka

Jeff Kolodzinski, the Marathon Man, will attempt to break his own world record for most fish caught in a 24 hour period using only one fishing line.  Jeff will teach young anglers his secrets during the “10K Kids Challenge”.  This shoot-out will feature kids competing against one another to catch the most fish in one hour.  Fishing For Life is seeking TEN $1,000 sponsors to raise funds and awareness for our mission to serve youth, family and community through fishing and outdoor programs.

August 7^th The Jim Davidson Celebration at Lake Marion in Lakeville

August 21^st The Captains’ Tournament  Bald Eagle Lake, Ramsey County

The 6^th Annual Captains’ Tournament will be held at Bald Eagle Lake just north of White Bear Lake.  Youth participating in the Fish-A-Thon, raising funds for urban ministries, are featured at this event but all kids are welcome.  Join us between the hours of 8:00 and 1:00 for boat and dock fishing, games and a picnic.  Boat owners interested in guiding captains should contact Chris at 612-408-3198.  The event is free for participants.  The event is free for participants with trophies awarded for largest bass, northern, pan fish and most species. 

Sep 16-19^th  Deep C’s Retreat Elbow Lake Lodge

Elbow Lake Lodge, the only lodge on Elbow Lake, will host the first annual Deep C’s Men’s Retreat.  We will be the only group using the facility during the retreat!  Chapel, Fellowship, Fishing, 3-Nights Lodging and 6 Meals are included in the $200 registration fee.  We have 60 spaces and they are filling fast so make your reservation today.
